Rahul Raj Singh’s lawyer walks out of Pratyusha suicide case

Within 24 hours of being booked for abetting actress Pratyusha Banerjee’s suicide (Just In: Rahul Raj Singh charged with abetment of suicide in Pratyusha case, Apr 5), Rahul Raj Singh has suffered another blow.
The actor-producer’s lawyer Neeraj Gupta has backed out of the case stating that he had been kept in the dark about certain facts by his client. After learning of the facts in question, Gupta has decided to quit the case on “humanitarian grounds.”
Pratyusha’s colleagues and friends from the TV fraternity had been crying hoarse since her suicide that she had been in an abusive relationship with Rahul. Several women also came forward to reveal that Rahul had duped them of hefty amounts of money under different pretexts.
Rahul is on the lookout for another lawyer to apply for bail.
